Work summary
Alistair is a qualified nurse and has been pursuing theological studies in preparation for future ministry. He has just returned to nursing after a career break of 15 months to serve in Peru. The aim of his time in Peru was to gain first-hand experience of ministry opportunities and to explore how God would lead him to serve in the future and what further preparation he might need.
Background
Alistair grew up in Peru where his parents served with Baptist Missions. When he was 14 his family moved back to Ireland so he and his sister could finish their education. Alistair trained as a nurse and then subsequently studied theology at Queens University, Belfast.
Family
Alistair has one sister, two parents and one grandmother, who lives at home with his parents. Alistair is single.
