Background

Before serving in France with Baptist Missions, Andrew worked as a translator with the Northern Ireland Dept of Agriculture and Delwynne as a nursery assistant in Pond Park Nursery School, Lisburn. Delwynne came to faith as a child, having been brought up in a Christian home and attended Lisburn Baptist Church all her life until she married Andrew. Andrew was converted while studying in Germany and came from a non-Christian home. They are members of Gilnahirk Baptist church. Andrew trained for Christian service at IBC.

Family

Two sons - Timothy (married to Lydia) 18/12 and Luke - 20/03

Interests

Andrew: reading (particularly detective and science fiction novels), folk music, travel, history. Delwynne: reading (French and English classics mainly), cross-stitching, impressionist art.

Prayer

Andrew & Delwynne are currently serving in the Baptist church in Colmar, Alsace, France, where Andrew has accepted a call to the pastoral ministry there. Please pray for them and the church members as they face the challenge of living out and communicating the Gospel in an area where religious traditionalism and the growing influence of Islam vie with typical French secularism to keep the hearts and minds of men, women and children captive under Satan's control.
