Work summary
For the past 5 years we have been working at beginning a church in Galway. We have prayerfully made contacts anyway and everywhere we can.
In 2003 we were joined by Jason and Mandy Post, who are a great addition to the ministry. God has given us a ministry with students. During the university year we host events for them and we also hold a weekly Bible Study for university gals.
We meet weekly for Bible Study with a small group and have begun having worship services in a nearby hotel. Details and directions are online here.
We have hosted teams from the USA, who do prayer walking around Galway and make contacts which have lead to many opportunities for them to share Christ.

Prayer
Pray that we will continue to have good relationships with the contacts we have and that conversations will lead to the Gospel. Pray that God will lead us to sheep that the Great shepherd is calling. Pray for the small group of believers who are part of our church, that they will be wisely bold in sharing their faith. Pray that God will bring mature mission minded Irish and others to Galway City Baptist Church (our name). Pray that we will all grow in our spiritual walk with God.
